The Farm and Winery Farmhouse Montecarlo will be open to the public to accompany the visitor on an innovative and exciting tour, thanks to the familiar hospitality of the owners and with the presence of qualified and winemakers sommeliers Fisar and AIS.

Directly in the cellar, you’ll know qualified exhibitors of local products. Through streets lined by vineyards and olive groves, there will be the “wine bus” shuttle service, that will lead directly to the entrance of the cellars.
Between a winery and the other it’s possible to visit the historic fortress Cerruglio, the splendid Theatre Reassured, the Collegiate Church of St. Andrew the Apostle and the ancient church of San Piero in Campo, treasures of artistic and cultural heritage of Montecarlo that for the occasion will open their doors to all the visitors.
Then, a special visit of the little hamlet, one of the most glorious of all the fortress Lucca! You will notice the noble red stone which underlines the crenelled tower and the encircling wall of the castle, before being definitely ready to enjoy the wine experience!

In the wine estate, you will be able to discover the different phases employed for the wine making as well as for the production of extra-virgin olive oil. There will be a visit of the wine cellars too. Before taking a seat to enjoy the tasting, you can choose to walk along the rows of vineyards and those of the impressive olive trees.

The tasting will let you love the Montecarlo wine, which received the certification Doc (the origin of the grapes used is controlled), for red and white wine. You will taste different vintages few and you’ll be delighted by the Tuscan “crostini”, among which there will be a tasty “bruschetta” with extra-virgin olive oil.

At the end of the day, on the way back, you’ll be willing to sing with us the traditional Italian songs, full of the joy of a great half day out!
